UK: Inside London’s derelict Millennium Mills

A monumental block of industrial heritage that has stood empty for roughly 35 years is about to be returned to new use.

This site, dating to 1931, was built at Victoria Dock for Spillers, and fitted out by Henry Simon Ltd. It used a combination of bucket elevators and a pneumatic system, to offload up to 200 tons per hours of wheat from ships, directly into the mill’s silos.
