USA: Banners’ creators are gone, and soon grain elevators’ art will be, too

They are the most visible display of public art in Omaha: 26 banners stretched high and wide across a row of old grain elevators along Interstate 80 at 34th Street.

Sad to see that this initiative has come to an end. Also sad to see community equated to funders, as "it demanded a moment of pause and reflection (on) whether the community, ultimately represented by its funders, wanted what we were doing in Omaha.”
